The Computer Scholarship are tenable up to 3 years for PhD (via route MPhil) [subject to satisfactory progress] and open to international applicants only. UK / EU applicants are not eligible to register. Scholarships will provide £ 15,000 towards the cost of international tuition for 3 years.
violence associated with 'honor' Experience (HRV) has been completely neglected in terms of psychological research. Significantly, Computer Scholarship no single source of empirical-based psychosocial services can be located to inform the etiology, nature, or the impact of HRV, both for the victim or perpetrator. Thus, specific forms of domestic violence and child still largely seen in terms of psychological research that systematically and there is no validated evidence currently exists to inform practice or policy in the UK.
The Computer Scholarship proposed project will apply psychological theory and research to explore the area and severity of threats and violence used against and by the British-born men and women of South Asia who are in England, in the name of 'honor'. Both qualitative and quantitative techniques of data collection will be used. Applicants must have, or expect to receive a qualification equivalent to high-grade honors English.
