Fully Funded Doctoral Scholarships 2011 by NUI Maynooth Ireland


This Computer Scholarship is directed to support new research students who have demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and who want to develop their teaching and professional skills, and contribute to pedagogical development in their discipline.

Announcement Details:

NUI Maynooth today announced 12 new Computer Scholarship fully funded doctoral teaching at the University starting in September 2011, worth around € 84,000 each for 4 years. It also announced accepting applications for the 30 John & Pat Hume Research Scholarship for PhD students this year and also for the 20 additional scholarships for taught Masters courses - one for each department at the University. This Computer Scholarship brings investment in research NUI Maynooth students to further € 2 million annually.

Eligibility Details:

Computer Scholarship Applicants must intend to pursue full-time PhD at the University. http://www.callforpapersinfo.com
http://thescholarshipprogramme.com Entry requirements for PhD programs established by each department, but all scholarship applicants must hold either: • The first class honors degree; • top class honors with a first primary in the proposed discipline. • class first taught a master's degree (or equivalent), or • hold a Master in Science and Engineering Research Faculty, applicants must hold a top class honors with a first major title in the proposed discipline or the first in their final research project. The Computer Scholarship degree of this may have come from Ireland, the European Union or from universities abroad. Those who have started a research degree at NUI Maynooth before the application will not be eligible for a scholarship competition for that level. Those who have received scholarships to complete a research degree will not be eligible to apply for funding for a research degree 2 in both the Masters or Doctoral level.
